In 1994, Sheila left Eastman Kodak Company and moved into a more challenging profession as a full time “House Queen” and mother to their five purpose-filled children – Caleb, Shekinah, Zoe, Zachary and Samuel. Her career took a God-ordained turn in 1991, when she married her best friend, Michael Vaughn. Rochester, New York to begin her career at the Eastman Kodak Company as a systems analyst.
She attended Oakland University, where she obtained her Bachelor’s of Science degree. Sheila Vaughn was born in Lansing, Michigan to her loving parents, Louis and Priscilla Stokes. One of his favorite themes is to “stretch” people. He loves seeing growth occur in the lives of those that adhere to the teaching of the Word! The messages he gives are challenging and life-changing. He believes that everyone has purpose and that he has been blessed with the unique ability and calling to help draw that purpose out. Pastor Michael has a deep desire to see the people of God walk out their purpose on the earth. Their union has produced five wonderful children – Caleb, Shekinah, Zoe, Zachary and Samuel. Pastor Michael married the love of his life and best friend, Sheila Stokes on May 4, 1991. In order to gain greater insight into the Word that he preaches, Pastor Michael obtained a certificate acknowledging his completion of the required course work from Elim Bible College. Along with serving as the Senior Pastor of New Wineskin Church, he also works as a Senior Image Scientist at ITT Geospatial Systems. There he received his Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) and a Masters of Science in Imaging Science.
Michael Vaughn was born in Elmira, New York, where he lived until moving to Rochester to attend school at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT).
